Does Your Family Deserve Complete Dental Care?
Changing dentists can be difficult, but it’s something that many patients deal with at one time or another.
Maybe you and your family recently moved to the area because of a job transfer or a career opportunity. Maybe your long-time dentist has finally decided to retire and spend his golden years fishing.
Maybe, you and your old dentist just didn’t click.
Whatever your reason, Oregon Smile Care Center will welcome you with open arms. We appreciate all our patients, and we enjoy getting to meet new ones whenever we can.
If you live in or near Salem, OR, please visit our dentist office to find out for yourself what we have to offer.
The foundation for good general and family dentistry is preventive care.
This includes the services that we provide in our office, as well as our patient education efforts. We want you and your family to know what you can and should do to keep your mouths as healthy as possible.
When you come to our office, we will put all our resources to work on your behalf. You will receive a thorough and professional cleaning from a member of our friendly staff. We also will examine your mouth for any symptoms of tooth decay, gum disease, or other oral health concerns.
We have utilized technology to help us find those problems sooner, which improve the effectiveness of your treatment, too.
One example of this is our Spectra™ lights. This system shows us things that we can’t see with our eyes alone. The end result is we are able to identify possible problem areas sooner.
And while this isn’t specifically about preventive care, we also know that your time is valuable. We make every effort to keep on schedule so you can get when you should. If we are late, we’ll even offer gift cards to the movies as our way of apologizing.
In a perfect world, preventive care would be all that anyone needs. Last time we checked, however, we aren’t living in that perfect world.
Sometimes people neglect their oral care or a part of their oral care. Sometimes accidents happen that cause injuries that damage teeth or expose them to infections. Teeth fall out, individually and collectively.
When those things happen, we have the tools and the know-how to restore your smile and give you functional replacements for your teeth.
Some examples of restorative services include:
- Dental implants — These titanium cylinders are placed directly into your jaw, and they replace the roots of missing teeth.
- Dental crowns — We offer CEREC same-day dental crowns in our office. If one of your teeth is decayed, damaged, or discolored, we can fix it in a single visit to our office. If you lose a tooth, we can pair your dental crown with an implant to create a complete tooth replacement.
- Dental bridges — For people missing more than one tooth, dental bridges can fill in the gaps in your smile. These too can be supported by dental implants.
- Root canal treatments — This remains one of the most misunderstood procedures in dentistry. With modern techniques, the procedure is a painless way to alleviate the toothache you may be experiencing because of an infected tooth.
Some people may see this as a vanity project, but we see it quite differently. We have seen patients who were completely ashamed of their teeth.
This made them embarrassed to smile or even talk to other people. Their teeth became an obstacle in their lives.
With cosmetic dentistry, we were able to give them better smiles. It’s amazing to see what kind of a difference that can make in a person’s personality.
Cosmetic care can include a wide range of services.
Few people are born with perfect teeth, but not everyone is comfortable with or needs to wear braces. At our office, we have helped many patients with Invisalign instead. The clear aligners are a comfortable and convenient way to improve their smiles.
Yellow, stained teeth are a common problem. It’s partially a function of the things we eat and drink (coffee, tea, soft drinks, etc.) and partially a function of getting older.
With our professional teeth whitening, we can remove years of stains from your smile. (And if you do take advantage of this service, be sure to ask about our whitening for life program to help you maintain your bright smile.)
