Dr. Angel Cardenas

Dr. Angel Cardenas is excited to be coming back to the Salem area to serve his community and continue to build long-term relationships with his patients. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Portland, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois. Dr. Cardenas’ love for dentistry stems from his desire to combine art, engineering, and problem-solving to help his patients achieve the smile of their dreams.

Dr. Cardenas understands the importance of embracing the diversity of each patient and ensuring they feel comfortable and confident that they are receiving the highest level of care from someone who genuinely cares about them and their oral health. He is really looking forward to coming back to the community that helped shape him into who he is today.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cardenas enjoys spending his time with his wife Xialalitl (Lali), his two boys Guillermo and Agustin, and their Bernese Mountain Dog Henry. He likes to stay healthy and active, whether that’s lifting weights, running, golfing, or exploring new places.
