Today, we are going to discuss something that can be a little uncomfortable.
It’s important, but it’s not one of the things that we address frequently in our blogs.
It’s the cost of dental care.
We know it can be expensive at times, especially if you are interested in a more complicated procedure.
But we also want you to know that every member of Oregon Smile Care Center is on your side. If there is a way that we can help you make the cost of your treatment more manageable, then we want to help.
This is why we offer a range of payment options for our patients.
One of the ways we try to help patients who visit our dentist office in Salem, OR, is through our in-house financing plan.
The first step is being able to cover half the cost of your procedure. As part of your planning for restorative or cosmetic treatments, we want to make sure you understand the cost of any procedure that you are interested in receiving.
After that initial payment, you will have time to pay off the balance. And the best part is if you complete your payments within a year, then you will pay no interest.
We work with a number dental insurance providers in our practice. If you are a new patient, we encourage you to download our forms before coming in for your initial cleaning and examination.
This will save you time by allowing you to fill out our forms in advance, but it also gives you an opportunity read up on our policies. We don’t want anyone to be surprised when they come to us for dental care.
Now is also a good time to review what is covered by your insurance plan. With many policies, the benefits expire at the end of the year. It’s important to know that preventive procedures are covered as well as how your policy could assist with restorative treatments.
Fortunately, you still have time before the end of the year to get the most out of your insurance coverage. You don’t want to lose your benefits because you let time run out.
Other Financing Options
We also know that dental coverage is not provided by every company, or you may not consider your company’s dental plan worth the money it costs.
We still will work with you, and that includes putting you in touch with other services that can help make the cost of dental care more manageable.
✦ Prosper Healthcare Lending
This is program has helped more than 250,000 people with more than $5 billion in healthcare expenses.
The application is fast. They offer longer term financing than our in-house program, which may assist in making your payments more affordable within your budget.
This company can assist with the costs of basic preventive service as well as restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontic treatments.
You can find links to multiple companies websites on our payment options page. On their site, you can find additional information about how their work. You can even apply online for many of them.
This way you can find out faster if you can schedule an appointment for the procedure or treatment that you have been putting off for weeks, months, or years.
Our Team Is Here To Support You
Our office manager, Amber, is passionate about helping our patients receive the care they want and deserve.
She became our office manager after working as a dental assistant for a few years. This gives her some insight into why patients are interested in certain treatment, and this affects her desire to help you find a way to cover the costs the treatments you are seeking.
We don’t think patients should dip into their savings in order to pay for dental treatments in the present.
When we work on a plan to give you the smile you’ve always wanted, this should include addressing the practical matters that come along with that treatment.
New Patients Are Always Welcome
We love seeing new patients walk through our dentist office doors in Salem, OR. Our hope is that by your first visit will become one of many that will continue for years to come.
