At Oregon Smile Care Center, our hygienists, dental assistants, and front office team work together every day to make your visit smooth, comfortable, and worry-free. From the moment you call to schedule an appointment to the moment you leave with a healthier smile, our team in Salem, OR is here to support you every step of the way.

Amber

Office Manager

Amber started in the dental field in 2008 as a Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator. This background gave her the tools to understand how a successful practice runs from front office to back office. She has been managing Oregon Smile Care Center since 2014 with a patient centered and connected team approach. Whether streamlining daily operations, supporting our team, or welcoming new patients, Amber strives to foster a practice built on trust, respect, and excellent patient experience.

Outside of the office, Amber enjoys staying active with her three kids’ busy sports schedules. From baseball fields to basketball courts, to dance recitals, she loves cheering on her kids and being their #1 fan. In downtime you can find her spending time in the sun or reading a new novel.

Mallory

For the past 16 years, Mallory has built a rewarding career in the dental field, bringing a well-rounded understanding of both patient care and practice operations. The most rewarding part of her work is seeing the happiness and relief that comes when a patient's concerns are resolved and they feel confident about their care.

Outside of the office, Mallory enjoys spending time with her four children. As a family, they love staying active and making the most of the outdoors, whether attending sporting events, camping, enjoying water sports, or hunting. Her dedication to her family, combined with her commitment to her patients and profession, reflects the same qualities she brings to her work every day: compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Miriam

Treatment Coordinator

Miriam has been in the dental field since 2011 and truly enjoys connecting with and getting to know the patients she meets. Insurance verification is her specialty, and she works diligently to maximize each patient’s insurance benefits.

Coming from a family of nine children, Miriam is very family oriented. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, traveling, camping, and volunteering in her community.

Chandy

EFDA, Dental Assistant

Chandy has been working at Oregon Smile Care Center since 2006. She is a graduate of the dental assistant program at Portland Community College. She loves inspiring patients about their oral health, and she works hard to make your visits with us as positive and as comfortable as they can be.

Chandy grew up in Enterprise, Oregon. Her family is a huge part of her life. She has 2 children and a dog at home. She enjoys watching the Portland Trailblazers and the Raiders, cooking, DIY projects, and reading in her spare time.

Tawny

EFDA, Dental Assistant

Tawny has been a dental assistant since 2012, and she is happy to come to work every day. She enjoys helping patients have healthy smiles.

Tawny is married with three children. Together, they like to spend time outdoors, hiking, running, gardening, and traveling. She also has fun cooking, reading, and watching movies. You’ll also find her volunteering at her church in Salem whenever she can.

Danica

Registered Dental Hygienist

Danica graduated from OIT in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene and has been helping patients maintain and improve their oral health at Oregon Smile Care Center ever since. She is passionate about providing patients with quality care with a gentle approach and building trusting relationships.

When she's not working, she enjoys gardening, photography and spending time with her wonderful husband and two amazing kids!

Julie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in public health at Oregon State University, then she went to hygiene school at Carrington College in Portland. Today, we’re happy to have her as one of our talented hygienists. She enjoys caring for patients and teaching them about the connections between oral and overall health.

Away from the office, Julie is up for pretty much any sporting activities and loves being outdoors. She and her family enjoy fishing and spending time with their Labradors.

Ashley

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley is a dedicated dental hygienist who has been caring for patients for 10 years. She truly loves what she does and takes pride in helping her patients maintain healthy smiles and feel confident in their oral health.

One of Ashley’s favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients beyond their appointments. She enjoys building genuine relationships and friendships that help make each visit comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable.

Outside of the office, Ashley is a wife and mom to three wonderful kids. Her family keeps her busy and brings her so much joy. When she’s not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and making memories together.

Becca

Registered Dental Hygienist

Becca is an Oregon native who graduated with her dental hygiene degree from Portland Community College in 2017. Her passion is to provide her patients with the tools they need to succeed with their oral health, while also connecting and building relationships with them.

Becca lives in Salem with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters.

Rick

Rick has been working in the dental field since 2016 and truly enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their dental visits.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and his Boston terrier, Chop.

He also appreciates making the most of his free time, traveling, going to Oregon state football and baseball games and watching the Raiders and Mariners during their seasons.

Lauren

Lauren has been a dental assistant since 2013. She graduated from the dental assistant program at LBCC as well as earning an Associates of General Studies Degree. Lauren is excited to be part of the team helping people to reach their dental goals! Another part of dental assisting she enjoys helping nervous patients feel more at ease during their visit. Lauren grew up in the Willamette Valley and enjoys kayaking, visiting the Oregon coast, bar trivia and reading.

Corina

Corina completed dental assisting school in 2011 and shortly after made the transition to the front office. She loves interacting and forming relationships with patients, while helping them fully understand their dental benefits. Corina, her husband and 4 children live in Turner. They have a hobby farm, where she spends most of her time when she’s not at work. When she’s not farming or at the office, you can find her spending quality time with her family, camping, baking, thrifting, and working on their farmhouse fixer upper.

Mariana

Mariana has been working in the dental field since 2020 and is proudly bilingual. She enjoys building connections with patients and helping make each visit a welcoming and comfortable experience.

Outside of work, Mariana loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and enjoying the beauty of nature. One of her favorite things to do is go hiking with her pug. She also enjoys spending time with family and creating meaningful memories along the way.

Jenna

Jenna has been working in the dental field for five years and truly loves caring for her patients. She believes everyone deserves to feel comfortable, welcomed, and heard when they visit the dentist. She takes pride in building genuine relationships with her patients and helping make their dental experience as positive and stress-free as possible.

Outside of the office, Jenna is married and a proud mom to her beautiful baby boy. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading, and golfing.
