SALEM, OR – A Salem, Oregon, dental practice recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art facility and has added new employees for its larger and more convenient office.
Oregon Smile Care Center’s new location, 2045 Madrona Ave. SE, includes more patient operatories and a larger and more relaxing waiting room. With the expansion of the office and dental team, patients will have more available appointments.
“This is the most exciting thing that has happened to our dental practice in 15 years,” said Dr. Sean Hanson, who operates Oregon Smile Care Center. “This new building became a reality because we have the support of so many dedicated patients and our community.”
Each of the office’s comfortable eight dental treatment rooms is equipped with the latest technology, including digital X-rays, digital camera, TVs and wireless headphones. Dr. Hanson said the new technology will aid in better patient education, preventive care and even diagnosis.
Oregon Smile Care Center also recently added front desk staff member Jaralyn Parker and registered dental hygienist Julie Flager. Parker will help with insurance, phones and checking patients in and out of the office. Dr. Hanson said the addition of Flager will increase the office’s hygiene appointment availability.
“Patients love the comfy, home-like atmosphere of the new office,” Dr. Hanson said. “They are loving the comfortable operatories and the ease of scheduling. The process, which was streamlined prior, has now become even more efficient for everyone involved.”
Oregon Smile Care Center offers a full range of dental services, including composite fillings, crowns and bridges, dental implant restorations, periodontal therapy, children’s dentistry, TMJ therapy and sleep apnea treatment. One of the practice’s most popular services is Invisalign, an orthodontic system that uses clear aligners instead of metal braces to straighten teeth. Invisalign gradually moves the teeth into a more appropriate position and is virtually invisible. Most patients see results in about 12 to 18 months, which is about half the time of conventional braces.
Dr. Hanson – originally from Salem, Oregon – attended local schools Candalaria Elementary, Leslie Middle School and South Salem High School. He received his undergraduate degree in pre-dentistry and a minor in chemistry from Oregon State University. He then traveled to the East Coast to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2006. Dr. Hanson worked for a corporate dental office for two years before starting his own practice. He holds dental licenses in the states of Oregon and Florida.
Dr. Hanson and staff members at Oregon Smile Care Center are heavily involved in the community. The staff assists Boys & Girls Aid, participates in an annual golf tournament to benefit Juvenile Justice Ministry and donates time to Salem Free Clinic. Oregon Smile Care Center also offers a free day of dentistry every year during Salem’s “Serve Fest.”
Oregon Smile Care Center prides itself on giving patients comfortable and affordable dental care. To schedule a consultation with Dr. Hanson and his talented staff, call the office at 503-837-2718.
