Dr. Angel Cardenas is excited to be coming back to the Salem area to serve his community and continue to build long-term relationships with his patients. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Portland, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois. Dr. Cardenas’ love for dentistry stems from his desire to combine art, engineering, and problem-solving to help his patients achieve the smile of their dreams.

Dr. Cardenas understands the importance of embracing the diversity of each patient and ensuring they feel comfortable and confident that they are receiving the highest level of care from someone who genuinely cares about them and their oral health. He is really looking forward to coming back to the community that helped shape him into who he is today.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cardenas enjoys spending his time with his wife Xialalitl (Lali), his two boys Guillermo and Agustin, and their Bernese Mountain Dog Henry. He likes to stay healthy and active, whether that’s lifting weights, running, golfing, or exploring new places.

Dr. Dana Wisseman

Dr. Dana Wisseman grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. Dr. Wisseman earned her Bachelor’s degree in anthropology and communication from Humboldt State University. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in forensic science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Dr. Wisseman has experience working in both county and federal medical examiner’s offices and labs. Dr. Wisseman made the transition into dentistry in order to combine her educational background and her interest in medicine. She attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After spending 10 years in the Midwest, Dr. Wisseman is happy to call Oregon her home once again and treat patients from the greater Salem area. She places an emphasis on good communication and education, and is happy to answer any questions about your oral health.

Dr. Benjamin Farham

Dr. Benjamin Farham’s journey in dentistry began with his enrollment at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from OHSU, Dr. Farham embarked on a journey of continuous professional growth and development. Seeking to broaden his knowledge and skills, he pursued a one-year general practice residency at the esteemed US Veterans Affairs Hospital in Portland, Oregon. During his residency, Dr. Farham gained valuable experience in various aspects of general dentistry, further solidifying his foundation in patient care. This invaluable training allowed him to understand the importance of a comprehensive approach to dentistry, which would later contribute to his success as an endodontist.

Motivated by his deep fascination with endodontics, Dr. Farham chose to pursue advanced training in this specialized field. He was accepted into the prestigious residency program in endodontics at Penn Dental Medicine, a world-renowned institution known for its excellence in dental education.

Dr. Farham understands that dental treatments, especially root canals, can be anxiety-inducing for some individuals. With his warm and empathetic demeanor, he ensures that each patient feels comfortable, informed, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

He firmly believes in fostering open and transparent communication, taking the time to explain procedures, address concerns, and answer any questions patients may have. Dr. Farham’s gentle chairside manner and commitment to delivering pain-free experiences have earned him the trust and gratitude of his patients.
