Let’s not kid ourselves; a beautiful smile is important for our social and professional lives. We know that chips, cracks, and stains on your teeth can kill an otherwise healthy smile. Sometimes these flaws can make teeth look unhealthy. The good news is that with cosmetic dentistry, we can fix imperfections – large and small – and give you a smile you’ll love.
The power of cosmetic dentistry extends much further than improving your smile. Studies show that cosmetic dentistry can help people thrive in public situations and even become more successful. At Oregon Smile Care Center, we use state-of-the-art treatments and procedures that can give you the smile of your dreams.
Whiten Your Teeth For Life
A simple whitening session can transform your smile and erase years of dental stains. We can help you whiten your teeth in our office or even the comfort of your home. Using a special whitening treatment known as Opalescence, we can brighten your teeth in one visit. Our in-office whitening procedure is ideal for soon-to-be brides and grooms or those who need a bright smile fast. If you have extra time to whiten your teeth, we can also create custom whitening trays for you to wear at home. Instead of working instantly, the whitening treatment is rendered over the course of a few weeks or until you reach the shade that is right for you.
The bleaching treatments are long-lasting and include materials that strengthen the teeth. We even have a special program called Whitening For Life. Patients are eligible for the program if they continue to return to the office for their regular six-month cleanings and exams.
Make Your Smile Pop With Tooth Bonding or Veneers
Our office can use tooth bonding, also known as composite bonds, to correct chips or cracks in the teeth, but in many cases we need a stronger material to restore your smile. Veneers can repair teeth with chips, breaks, or heavy stains. We work with a laboratory to create these durable and strong restorations that will last years. To place veneers, we first remove a portion of the enamel and then take impressions for your permanent restoration. Because the e.max veneer material we use is extremely strong, we remove very little tooth structure. The end result is a permanent restoration that will give you a stunning smile!
You Don’t Have To Live With Crooked Teeth
Of all the cosmetic issues we can face with our teeth, crooked teeth are about the most distracting. Some of you have struggled with misaligned teeth for years, while others have seen their teeth shift after receiving orthodontic treatment. Straight teeth allow you to have more confidence and keep your teeth healthier. At our office, we use Invisalign – a treatment that allows you to straighten teeth without the hassle of metal brackets or wires. Invisalign is a revolutionary system that uses a series of clear, plastic aligners to gradually guide your teeth into position. The aligners are virtually invisible and can be taken out for cleaning and eating. Working professionals love this treatment, and most Invisalign patients tell us that even their family members have no idea they are wearing aligners!
Uncover That Beautiful Smile, Reshape Jagged Teeth
So many of us are walking around with jagged tooth edges or front teeth that are different lengths. Even the tiniest imperfections on your teeth can make your smile look unhealthy. With a process known as tooth contouring, we can reshape the teeth and give you a more uniform, healthy-looking smile.
But it’s not just teeth that make the difference between a bad and great smile; your gums also play a role. In addition to assessing the health of the gums, we look at the appearance and shape of your gums. Many patients struggle with what we call a “gummy smile,” which occurs when too much of the gum covers the tooth. To correct this problem, we use a state-of-the-art laser to reshape the gum and uncover more of your healthy tooth’s crown. We call this treatment crown lengthening. By correcting your gummy smile, you can uncover your beautiful natural teeth and increase the overall health of your gums!
We have the ability to fix multiple aspects of your smile, and one tool that plays a huge role in our smile makeover cosmetic procedures is the dental wax-up. After we have created a mold of your teeth, we then place the restorations on the mold. Think of a dental wax-up as a special smile preview. We understand that it can be difficult to imagine what your procedures will look like, but the wax-up gives you a physical reference as you make the decision of whether to move forward with treatment!
Cosmetic dental procedures can change the way you approach life and the way people approach you! We love helping patients overcome flaws or imperfections in their teeth.
